YouTube Limelight

Each month I will feature one of my favourite YouTube channels, sharing the little things I like about them & of course the video I like best. This month is The Ellen Show. It's very rare that I get to catch an episode of The Ellen Show, even with Foxtel. I don't record it because I don't have time to watch it. I often manage to catch parts that people have shared on Facebook & am always left it stitches. Click here to see more of Ellen's videos.

Each month I will feature one of my favourite YouTube channels, sharing the little things I like about them & of course the video I like best. This month is Marissa Lace. I was introduced to Marissa's channel via Nikki Blackketter. I know this video is a little bit old, but as we are not far into the second half of the year it's a great time to reflect on your goals & make any adjustments to help you achieve them. I was introduced to Marissa's channel via Nikki Blackketter. I think I will have to make this taco soup this week now! I actually had a really hard time choosing a video to feature today. So many of Jimmy Fallon's videos are absolutely hilarious from Wheel oh Musical Impressions to Catchphrase to Pictionary. I've honestly never looked at this channel until today. It was so hard to choose just one video, I really urge you to check out the rest of them! I really think I am going to have to make this now. This channel is full of bite-sized bits of knowledge. I've thrown in a double whammy for today's post. I love seeing how people from different countries react to Australian things. BuzzFeed Yellow is an offshoot of the main Buzzfeed channel featuring more fun, inspiring and interesting videos. I love how candid and honest kids can be when you ask them questions. Each month I feature one of my favourite YouTube channels, sharing the little things I like about them and of course the video I like best. This month is Fitness Blender. I have been subscribed to Fitness Blender for well over 18 months now. I came across the channel while searching for a HIIT workout to do at home. The videos now include a time bar that progresses as you move through the video, a demo of the next move before it starts, a countdown timer for seconds left doing each move and approximate calories burned calculation that updates continuously. I have just come across this video & have decided to move this month's YouTube Limelight forward because I feel it needs to be shared now. I first came across Essena on Tumblr about a year ago. I did start following her but unfollowed after about a month. I unfollowed her because I felt she was trying to push her agenda onto her followers & it was not something I was interested in. I don't think I ever would have guessed that Essena was paid for some of her posts. I can't remember how I cam across this channel but it has opened my eyes to a few things like behind the scenes of a TV show, interesting apps & exotic travel locations. I came across this channel when it was in the recommended list in the YouTube app. I love seeing a 'day in the life' type videos & gaining an insight into how people live their lives.
