BellaBox DecemberI really was hoping for something extra special to appear in the December Bellabox box, but what a letdown! Four skin care products, one make up item and one hair care item that is actually for curly hair, which I don’t have.

Elizabeth Mott – It’s So Big Mascara

I think I have found the (almost) perfect mascara! This goes on so beautifully, I rarely have to remove smudges from my eyelid afterwards. It isn’t clumpy. It actually looks good when I apply it to my bottom lashes (I rarely do because I hate the way it looks). My only problem is that it seems to be waterproof, which makes it so hard to get off! Even after using the Garnier Micellar water it still doesn’t come off. I had to use coconut oil then used the Micellar water.

Enbacci – Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Essential Creme

This face cream smells like lemon made by chemicals in a lab somewhere. I have been using this almost every day, it seems hydrating enough for my skin & doesn’t leave it looking oily later in the day. Although, I have noticed that my face is a bit tingly in spots if I use this after using a cleanser.

Indio – Skin Tonic

This is a light face mist that smells like gardenia. The label says its an ‘active toner to refresh & firm’. I have just been spraying it on my face about twice a day on days that I don’t have makeup on. I don’t have much use for this product but I might pop it in my handbag to use on my face to freshen up a little bit.

Aveda – Be Curly Curl Controller

It was a bit disappointing to see this in my December Bellabox. I’m not sure if I will ever use this as I barely ever use hair products apart from shampoo & conditioner. It doesn’t help that the product name suggests it’s for controlling curly hair, which I don’t have. I always forget to use hair products because I generally let my hair air dry. I will try to remember to use this when I wash my hair next.

Neutrogena – Oil-Free Acne Wash

This should come with a warning! When I use a cleanser or face wash in the shower I always rub my eyes to give them a bit of a better clean. This face wash stings a bit if you get it in your eyes, I learned the hard way. I will use it until it’s empty & will be sure to avoid the eye area!

Skin Doctors – Antarctilyne Plump3

I was expecting this to be a clear serum but it is a white, very lightweight cream. It’s quite moisturising as I had some dry spots on my face that have now disappeared. I haven’t noticed a plumping effect that I was waiting for.
